some words for clarifying.
The bundle with Websphere Portal Server 5.0 contains "only" Websphere Translation Server in the version 5, which has maybe the best translation engine currently in the market.
The LTSS stuff was developed by Lotus using Sametime chat and Websphere Translation for translated chat.
The latest release of LTSS was 3.0 which was "gold" but never published.
As LTSS 3.0 was also using JDK 1.1.x we have completely recompiled the code and has rewritten it for using it with JDK 1.3, which is also used by Sametime 3.1.
I see a big market for the LTSS stuff now, because the translation engine used by LTSS two years ago was the Websphere Translation server 1.0, which had a low translation quality in comparison to WTS 5.0.
